Pretty In Peacock

Hey guys :)  Today I just had to show you my latest kimono! You may quite quickly notice I have a love for kimonos, especially fringed ones! They are so easy to throw over a dress or a playsuit and they immediately make the outfit unique! This peacock kimono has so many colours in it that I decided just a plain lace playsuit would suffice. Anyways I will let you guys see, hope you like it :)

Turquoise heels, River Island (old), Gift
Multi- coloured bracelet, DIY

The lace playsuit that I decided to team with the kimono, is actually a garment I brought a while ago from H&M, however I have linked a very similar playsuit above ^ which is from Missguided and is just as beautiful (if not more hehe). I hope you guys liked the outfit, and love the peacock kimono as much as I do!  Oh and I hope you like 'Penny' (the little dog above) she clearly wanted her photo taken today and so we decided to let her in to one of the shots :)

How would you guys style this kimono ?

Little 'Bow' Peep

Heart necklace, Ebay

For todays look I wanted to convey the girly, feminine mood that I was in! The weather is beautiful and my mums garden is looking particularly beautiful at the moment (although she is moaning that she has to water the plants way too much atm hehe). This Miss Selfridge shift dress is one of my favourite dresses that I have at the moment. It is so comfy to wear and because of the beautiful bell sleeves and delicate lace you don't really need to accessorise it that much, for it to still be a stand out piece. I decided to add the oversized bow headband (also from Miss Selfridge) as I love having accessories in my hair. I feel it gives that extra feminine touch and adds an extra interest to the overall look, what do you think?

Hope you guys like the look today, how would you style this dress? or if you have it already show me how you have styled this little number up! would love to see.

Matchy Matchy...

Hi all :) hope you all had a fun filled weekend and enjoyed the lovely weather. I wanted to show you all my matching top and skirt in forest leaf print from Topshop. I have had it a while, so I apologise for that but still, I thought maybe it would inspire you guys to step outside your comfort zone, as I have with this outfit. Hope you all like it :)

Crayon forest print crop top, Topshop
Crayon forest print midi skirt, Topshop
Green peep toe heels, Nine West
Floral crown, DIY (made myself)
Crochet fringed bag, Charity shop
heavily embellished tribal necklace, Beyond Retro
Rope belt, Fabric store
Brown jewelled cuff bracelet, Jewels (Leighton Buzzard)

I love this outfit, its so easy to throw on and you look like you have made such an effort, which I love hehe. I am usually not a big 'Midi skirt' fan however this one has slits up the front which makes it a bit more fun and young, as after all I am nineteen not fifty! hehe :)
So what do you guys think of the matching outfit? How would you style it?
Peace and Love,
Charlotte :)

Day Dreaming With Dream Catchers

Hey everyone! For todays outfit I decided to show you all my new miss selfridge playsuit. I think its suppose to be pj's! But tbh it is just so hot, I need something cool and light to wear, so what better than this little playsuit.

Cream cut out heels, Miss Selfridge (still in some stores)
Crochet fringed boho bag, Charity Shop
Crochet cover up, TK Maxx
Aviator Sunglasses, Primark
Floppy cream hat, DIY

I purchased the little blue dream catcher at a stall in milton keynes shopping centre, and I decided it was too lovely to leave out of this blog post, so I tied it to my bag, adding a bit of boho chic to the look. I thought I would add the little crochet cardigan as well to add some texture pattern to the outfit, and also I just love crochet and lace! :)
Well I hope you guys like todays look, do you like the added dream catcher and crochet cardigan? what would you style the lingerie playsuit with? Would love to know your thoughts and ideas :) x

Peace and Love <3

Not Just Your Ordinary Country Girl

Hey everyone, just want to quickly apologise for not posting for ages! I have been on holiday and very busy with uni, however have finished now and will be posting as much as possible, so hope you like the outfits I come up with over the rest of the summer :)

    Photographs taken by Lauren Chapman

Rose garden Kimono, Ania's Heaven (Sarasota, Florida)
Fringed cross crochet bag, Charity Shop
Rope studded collar, Miss Selfridge

This outfit was really based around the kimono that I purchased whilst I was on holiday in Florida. I have wanted a kimono for ages and when I saw this one in a cute little shop called Ania's heaven, (really was heaven) I just had to have it. The rose detail, with the leaves and orange tones in it compliment my hair colour and skin tone and I love that it's a light chiffon material so you can wear it in summer and still be cool. If any of you are ever in Sarasota in Florida go to a shopping place called The Circle and pop into this shop it so cute and sells one off pieces. I also purchased a lovely lace top that I will also do a post on.

The talented photographer Lauren Chapman and myself decided to do the shoot in a field. I thought I would carry the theme through and have my hair in a plait and wear a cute sunflower headband which unfortunately, I have no idea where I got from (however there are similar in Miss Selfridge, Topshop, Accessorize, Crown and Glory and Ebay).

Hope you guys are enjoying the amazing weather as much as I am
(perfect for some beautiful photography).

Lots of love to all
Charlotte :)
