Ruby Red

Me again,
So today I want to share with you lovelies this beautiful tropical playsuit by Missguided. It is cheap as chips, looks lovely and summery and is really comfy! Not to mention the colours are beautiful and I decided to pick out the pop of red that is featured throughout the print to base my accessories upon. With that in mind, I picked a bright red handbag and bright red wedges from River Island, which I think are a match made in heaven. Now... I have a 'thing' about the seam line that runs around the waist of playsuits and jumpsuits and I usually like to put a skinny belt around my waist to cover the line and break up the outfit a bit, creating the illusion of longer legs
(when I am actually quite short hehe, thanks mum!)
So for this playsuit I picked out the green that is within the pattern and added a green belt that was actually from topshop two years ago and is still one of my favs.
To finish the look I added a pop of red lippy to complete the colour scheme and overall look.
Hope this inspires you to experiment with colour lovelies...

Hope everyone has had a lovely day,
Love

Top Shopper

Hello again my lovely readers.
So this outfit basically sums up my love for Topshop - from the stunning tropical print to the full and classy shape of the midi skirt, this two piece is just a dream to wear. (You feel like some sort of fifties goddess that is ready for her afternoon tea party).
I decided to add a strawberry flower clip adding to the retro style and I also layered these two topshop necklaces, adding more texture and interest to the look. I lastly accessorised this outfit with a green clutch bag, picking out the green leaves within the co-ord and baby pink Zara heels, which picked out the pink in both the skirt and bralet.
Hope you like this summery glam look lovelies....

Flower Crowns & A Festival Feeling

Me again lovelies.

I am so sorry for the lack of posts lately, I have only recently finished my second year of uni and then I was poorly.. so I have not felt, or looked well enough, to style up an outfit and pose for all you lovely readers. However uni is now done, the sun is out, all the flowers are blooming, and I am on the mend so the blog is now calling my name.

For anyone that knows me, they will know I love lace, so when I found this asos two piece (in the petite section for anyone that cannot find it) I just had to purchase it. It is just beautifully delicate and feminine and is just perfect for summer festivals. So for anyone that is looking for a festival outfit and you too like lace, you should honestly give this co-ord a try. I personally decided to go for the ultimate boho look by styling it up with a flower crown, a lace fringed kimono and lots of jewellery (including my beautiful dream catcher necklace).

Now on to the flower crown – isn’t it beautiful? Where can you buy it, you may ask. Well this is why I love this flower crown – my mum made here at home and so is one of a kind made for me. I love DIY projects – especially flower crowns, so a big Thank you to my mummy for this beautiful one.
Speaking of my mum, she has been away on holiday for the last two weeks (I know jealous much) and she has been itching to see a new blog post (she feels like I’m there with her when she can see pictures of me on my blog). So this post is dedicated to my lovely mum who is probably my number one fan and biggest support – Love You Mummy!

I hope all my lovely readers are enjoying this beautiful weather as much as I am – 26 degrees it got to today I think – just amazing for here!

Lots of love as always,
Charlotte

Feeling Fruity...

Hello Lovelies,
Today I wanted to do something a little different, so instead of me posing (or should I say trying to pose) in my latest purchase, I instead have chosen a current trend and found affordable high street buys that may persuade you to give this trend a try.
So I decided to explore the Fruit Trend and tried to find a different slice of this trend for everyone to enjoy!
Many high street stores are loving the pineapple print - whether it be on tops, jeans or for accessories however some stores are being adventurous and going for oranges, cherries, bananas, strawberries and not forgetting The Queen B - watermelon.  The little collection below shows just a sample of how you could incorporate this trend into your outfits, whether your brave enough to go for the pineapple print Topshop jeans or maybe just stick to the small pineapple earrings - either way you too can rock this trend (and no don't think of an excuse why it will not suit you or your too old, or your hair colour doesn't match. There is something out there within this trend for you, trust me).
I personally opted for the Asos tank top shown below - it is really cute on and the colours fit in nicely with my pastel collection so far. However... I have also been eyeing up the Lemon slice bag from Accessorize as well, I know its a bit 'out there' but its so bright and cheerful that I cant help but love it. I also love the River Island fruit inspired bikinis and the strawberry floral crown is beautiful!
Enjoy lovelies
